WORSHIP ASSOCIATE

POSITION SUMMARY
BVGCC is seeking a dynamic Worship Associate who has strong leadership skills, is an experienced vocalist/instrumentalist, and is proficient in music technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Desire and ability to care for people
- Teachable and humble spirit
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- At least 2 years of full time experience in leadership and worship/music ministry
- Proficiency in one or more instruments (keyboard/piano skills preferred)
- Strong vocal ability and engaging stage presence
- Expertise in music technology software (i.e. Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Ableton)
- Flexibility, and the ability to troubleshoot on the fly
- Familiar with Planning Center and Pro Presenter software
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- 45-55 hours per week (salaried/exempt)
- Will include up to 3 nights out a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday) on a regular basis and can exceed that amount during peak seasons of ministry activity
- Will oversee arranging and technical production of musical elements for all weekend gatherings and various special events. (stage tracks, arrangements, etc.)
- Care investment in worship team members outside of rehearsals (i.e. counseling, shepherding, fellowship)
- Musical investment in worship team members
VENUE & CR WORSHIP GATHERINGS (Sunday 9:00am & 11:00am; Tuesday 6:30pm)
- Primary Worship Leader for 2 gatherings: The Venue & Celebrate Recovery
- Provide caring leadership to Venue community
- Recruit, organize and schedule volunteer worship teams
- Select songs and arrangements for Venue & CR Gatherings
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with Weekend Production Team & Recovery Ministry Leadership Team
