- Job Description:
This person is a member of the School of Education staff and is responsible for existing PeopleSoft applications and the development of new PeopleSoft applications for the School of Education. Responsibilities include integration of PeopleSoft applications with other systems, databases, and applications.
Examples of Duties
Support and maintain existing PeopleSoft applications through training and support to the School of Education faculty and staff
Request modifications and enhancements to existing PeopleSoft applications through regular IMT procedures
Develop and deploy new PeopleSoft applications for all departments in the School of Education
Perform data analysis and database design activities in conjunction the School of Education Data Manager
Assume short term leadership roles for working sessions, as necessary
Collaborate with team members on joint projects
Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects
Learn new technologies in support of business application needs
Adhere to APU software development methodology by collaborating with the Project Management Office on major projects
Tailor communication content to peer, supervisory, executive, and customer audiences
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education
Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
Experience
Two years experience with PeopleSoft applications
Skills
PeopleSoft applications, data analysis and design, ability to work well in a team setting, structured query language experience. Able to exercise independent judgment and discretion. Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to learn procedures and retain information. In agreement with the purpose and mission of Azusa Pacific University in providing a Christian-based higher education for its students.
