About the Job:
Dry Effect is seeking a dedicated Water/Mold Restoration Technician who shares our Christian values and commitment to serving our community with integrity and excellence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, has experience in restoration, and desires to work in a faith-based environment where teamwork, respect, and compassion are central to everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency water damage situations, guided by a commitment to serve others in their time of need.
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification with precision and care.
  • Conduct thorough mold assessments, remediation, and containment, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment, including dehumidifiers and air movers.
  • Document work performed with integrity, including photographs and detailed reports, to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Provide excellent customer service, rooted in Christian principles of kindness, patience, and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with the restoration team, fostering a spirit of unity and mutual support.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and vehicles as a reflection of respect for the resources entrusted to us.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in water damage restoration and/or mold remediation is highly preferred.
  • IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and lift heavy equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, guided by a desire to do all things well.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset that values collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed, with a heart willing to serve.
